How much flooring do I need?
Calculate the floor area (length x width), add 7-10% for cuts and waste, then divide by the coverage printed on each box. This calculator returns the exact number of boxes for hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank or carpet.
How much waste should I add for flooring?
Add 7-10% for straight installations and up to 15% for diagonal layouts or rooms with many angles. The calculator includes an adjustable waste percentage.
